Unconfirmed reports of mass killing of protesters in the southern Port City of Mahshahr in the Khuzistan province are starting to appear in the stream of news coming out of Iran.

It is reported that several days ago protesters were chased into a surrounded marshy reed patch and then were fired upon.

There are also reports of Tank usage in the said carnage.

The number of the dead in the alleged massacre is unknown as of yet, though dozens are said to have been gunned down.

It is said that the stench coming from the rotting corpses out of the reedy killing ground, was what guided the relatives of the dead who had been searching for them since their disappearance following the anti government protests in Mahshahr.

As the protesters were mostly ethnic Arabs, this may also be seen and documented as an attempt in Ethnic Cleansing by the Khomeinist regime.
