It looks like His Excellency (HE) does not want to, like no way no how, give up on the idea of finding a Delsey Rodriguez in Tehran.

Having spent an eternity in the casino business, he’s betting his credibility with his support base that he will find that Tehran Delsey.

Who would that Delsey be in Tehran? Would it be Araghchi? Would it be Javad Zarif? Surely not Qalibaf?

Whoever it would be, why does he want a Delsey? What’s going on in Venezuela, and what does he want it to be going on in Tehran?

Say he just so happens to find his Delsey, what is that Delsey supposed to do for him?

Surely a Delsey in Tehran, if he ever finds one, will be his total bitch long after he leaves the White House. That’s the kind of Delsey I would be looking for if I was him. Something tells me if he finds his true Delsey in Tehran, a loss in the midterms and what happens to the GOP won’t matter much and basically will be small overhead in exchange for a lasting bonanza.

But the thing is, even if what’s left of the Nekbat manages to produce a Delsey of sorts for him and say here you go sir, have at it with your Delsey, Iran is not Venezuela.

In fact, Iran is already in possession of a transitional government in exile, led by Reza Pahlavi.

It’s a most tragic fact, but it is a fact nonetheless that 52+ thousand young unarmed Iranians were massacred exactly because they came out to the streets demanding the ouster of the Nekbat and the coming of the transitional government led by the only name heard chanted, in its place. Those souls made the ultimate sacrifice to legitimize the transitional government of Iran in exile.
