In the mid to late 80’s, The Bad Brains was an independent-heavy rock band comprised of 4 young, vastly energetic New Yorkers who were smoking the Rock and Roll stage at home and abroad.

On contact, I mean immediately, The Bad Brains became one of my few favorite rock bands, on that hot New York summer night of my younger days when I first saw them at the CBGB. I remember thinking that it was a really good idea to go see them as a coworker of mine in a Bagel shop I used to part time suggested once.

My consciousness of the Bad Brains, then when I was most energetic myself, and all the memories that I have in which The Bad Brains is a part of either the actual memory or its background music, occupy a significant portion of my total consciousness and defining memories.
